Simply Pole Fishing

My name is Steven Holliday (Doc), and on my simplypolefishing.com homepage, you will see me fishing venues with the pole. 

My goal is to have fun and catch plenty of fish - sometimes on my own but mainly with my angling friends. You can see some more information about me in my short angling bio here.

I hope to pass on lots of good information on venues and tactics via my practice sessions and the few matches that I fish, mostly in the Netherlands.

The site ran under the name einfachstippen.com from 2014 to 2021. From January 2022, the site has transferred to simplypolefishing.com - as I have created and own all the content on both sites.

It's great that my original English einfachstippen.com website passed the 250,000 visitors mark before I switched it over to simplpolefishing.com.

For seven years I wrote about my fishing on einfachstippen.com. Now I have transferred everything to the new simplypolefishing.com site - on we go!

I hope to write much more than in previous years, and also hope to go on more angling tours.

 Paul Keizers - Hengelsport Hennie Kruidenier

I am are extremely grateful to Paul Keizers of Hengelsport Hennie Kruidenier for his valuable support. I first met Paul in 2014 when he was the only shop in Holland that could get me a new No. 6 section for my Sensas pole.

My favourite tackle is from Preston Innovations. I use their poles, rods, box, and all their accessories. There are not many things in my box that are not from Preston Innovations. 

Paul has a fantastic shop in Haaksbergen with tackle from all the top manufacturers. He has all of the Preston Innovations range in the shop as well as Sonubaits, Matrix, Drennan, Sensas, Guru,  Zammataro & VDE to name just a few. Paul has an extensive range of the latest Sensas poles on display and will configure a pack just the way you want it.

His team will give you great advice based on their extensive fishing knowledge as accomplished match anglers themselves.

The shop has recently undergone a complete transformation and is now well worth a visit even if you live a long way from Haaksbergen. Check out his shop on the link in the right hand column - you can order online as well.
