Fishing in 2025
In 2025, I'm hoping to do much more fishing. I'll be fishing with my new Shimano X7 Competition pole, and can't wait to put it through its paces. I got the pole from Paul Keizers at Hengelsport Kruidenier in Haaksbergen.
I do most of my fishing on Dutch Canals and slow rivers - usually with the pole and the waggler. Every now and again I'll get the feeder rod out for a change, and you can get some really big Bream weights on the feeder in Holland.
My favourite venues are the Beukers Canal, the North Holland Canal at West Grafdijk, and the shallower canals around Meppel - 1.8 to 2.3 m deep.
